His career includes more than a decade as a senior project engineer in a manufacturing organisation operating under U.S. Department of Defense and ISO standards, where precision, quality control, and process reliability were critical. He also spent 11 years as National Training Manager for A2K Technologies (now Arkance), building practical experience in both technical operations and client-facing service delivery. At NexSys, Vince oversees daily operational execution, coordinating closely with suppliers, distributors, and technology partners to ensure infrastructure and solution deployments are delivered efficiently and to specification. His focus on process discipline, vendor alignment, and operational visibility helps ensure projects run smoothly and clients receive dependable outcomes. Ian Simpson

General Manager, Design Technology

Ian is the General Manager of the Design Technology Business at Nexsys. In 2020, Nexsys IT strategically expanded its successful IT division by establishing a dedicated Design Technology arm, partnering with leading vendors such as Autodesk, Arch-Intelligence, Bluebeam, and others. This move significantly enriched our portfolio of innovative technology solutions. Ian joined Nexsys in 2021 to lead and drive this dynamic business forward. With a background that includes leadership roles in organisations partnering with global giants like Bentley, Autodesk, Bluebeam, and Trimble, Ian has also established an international BIM consulting enterprise. His extensive experience spans over 25 years, during which he has successfully led multidisciplinary teams delivering digital transformation strategies, technological innovations, and disruptive solutions across a wide range of industries – including architecture, engineering, construction, mining, manufacturing, government, defence, and local government. Ian is at the forefront of digital disruption, working across a broad spectrum of technologies – from manual processes and 2D/3D modeling to parametric design, cloud computing, SaaS, machine learning, AI, agentic AI, and neuro AI. As the technology landscape accelerates at unprecedented rates, Ian is available to collaborate with C-suite leaders to translate emerging technologies into tangible business outcomes, helping organisations navigate and leverage digital transformation for strategic advantage.

Cameron Zad

Director of Technical Services

Cameron is the Director of Technical Services, bringing a wealth of expertise and leadership to the role. With a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Cameron combines technical acumen with strategic insight. A certified PRINCE2 project manager, he excels in overseeing complex projects and ensuring efficient delivery. In his current position, Cameron is responsible for the strategic planning of the service department, guiding technical teams to deliver outstanding results specifically for the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry. Previously, Cameron served as the Global A2K Managed Services Manager, where he focused on serving clients in the AEC sector too. In this role, he honed skills in team leadership and service excellence, delivering tailored solutions that met the unique challenges of AEC clients. Cameron is committed to enhancing process improvements and driving customer satisfaction, ensuring that the organisation meets and exceeds client expectations. With a proven track record of success in the AEC industry, Cameron continues to inspire teams and elevate the standards of technical services within this dynamic field.

Service Desk Manager

Long Vo is the Service Desk Manager at Nexsys IT, where he leads the service desk and engineering teams responsible for delivering managed IT services and infrastructure solutions to a broad client base. In this role, he is responsible for service delivery leadership, escalation governance, and client engagement, ensuring that technology operations align with business objectives and service expectations. He also contributes to infrastructure planning and strategic technology initiatives across client environments. With more than 20 years of experience in the IT industry, Long brings extensive expertise in enterprise infrastructure, managed services operations, and technology leadership. His technical background spans infrastructure architecture, virtualization platforms, enterprise storage, and Microsoft technologies including Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Intune. He also has significant experience across networking and security platforms, including Fortinet, Cisco, HPE, and CrowdStrike. Long has worked across a range of industries including AEC, healthcare, education, retail, and ISP. He previously served as National IT Manager for Hames Sharley, where he led nationwide IT operations and infrastructure strategy to support distributed teams and large-scale design environments. Throughout his career, Long has led major infrastructure transformations, built and matured service delivery functions, implemented security and compliance frameworks, and delivered cloud and virtualization platforms that support scalable and resilient business operations.

Christopher Toscano

As the Marketing Manager for NexSys, Christopher brings a decade of professional marketing experience supporting services-based organisations. He translates complex technical capabilities into clear, meaningful messaging for Architecture, Engineering and Construction clients, helping NexSys better communicate the value of technology within the built environment. Christopher holds a master's degree in marketing and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. He combines strategic marketing expertise with analytical and technical capability, aligning initiatives with business objectives while delivering measurable outcomes and meaningful engagement with clients and industry partners. Christopher specialises in events and industry engagement, bringing more than 15 years of experience across event strategy, planning, and operational delivery. He has led the execution of large-scale industry events for up to 8,000 attendees, managing complex logistics while creating high-impact experiences that bring professionals, partners, and communities together. Passionate about the role technology plays in shaping the future of the AEC industry, Christopher is known for his collaborative approach and clear communication style. David O'Brien

IT Project Manager

David is an accomplished IT Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering strategic technology solutions to architecture and design firms across Oceania and Asia. With expertise in leading complex infrastructure deployments, managing vendor relationships, and aligning IT strategies to business growth, he specialises in turning technical initiatives into operational success. At NEXSYS IT, he has led high-impact implementation projects, including cloud-hosted migrations involving 100TB of data, and coordinated with client-side teams to deploy robust systems across multi-platform environments. His consultative approach helped streamline governance and modernise workflows within the AEC space. While at DKO Architecture, David designed and executed an IT RoadMap focused on future scalability, founded an internal support team to enhance service delivery, and oversaw the procurement of critical assets to support production. His leadership directly supported compliance goals and operational resilience. At ASPECT Studios, he managed a company-wide IT transformation during a phase of rapid global expansion – executing system upgrades, migrating legacy platforms to Microsoft 365, and scaling infrastructure across eight studios. His ability to manage budgeting, licensing, and strategic vendor partnerships helped future-proof the organisation. David excels in balancing tactical execution with strategic vision, empowering creative teams through smart, scalable technology project delivery.

He is also further developing ALTO, a solution that enables teams to securely access and work with their data from anywhere without relying on traditional VPN infrastructure – improving performance, simplifying management, and reducing operational friction. Earlier in his career, Malcolm held senior systems engineering roles at Tetra Tech and Norman Disney & Young, where he delivered major infrastructure and network modernisation initiatives across global offices. His work included deploying international SD-WAN connectivity across UK, Canadian and APAC operations, implementing Citrix virtual desktop and application environments, and modernising security and network infrastructure.
